My car is parked and just idling after a couple wot pulls. Noticed my IAT temp is at 160 F. Is it suppose to be that high? Outside temp right now is 78F I’m running just ktuner 21psi and muffler delete

You are stationary and all of that hot air is flowing through your intake.
Monitor your IAT2 as well and determine the delta between that and the ambient temp. That will let you know how “heat soaked” you are or are not. You will have to do that while moving. If you have an upgraded IC you just may find yourself in a favorable condition sooner than later.

That is very high. And so is your coolant.

However, that's not too unusual for our cars, especially at idle. These little 1.5Ts run super hot. After a few WOT pulls, as you said you did, those aren't alarming numbers. You can cook a steak on these tiny turbos after a few minutes of boost lol.

Maybe consider some mods down the road to keep things cooler, like a cold air intake, intercooler, more open grill, heat blankets, etc... to name a few. Because these cars tend to run hotter than most, cooling mods should have a decent benefit, both in performance and longevity.

Your Knock Control seems to be slightly elevated also. Mine stays at .49 pretty much 98% of the time. Even during hard driving. It will blink to .48 every now and then.

Probably due to 91 octane in California. Mine hovers around .54-.59

With the wrong spark plugs, my K. Control would fluctuate between 0.54 and 0.67. Went to the NGK OEM's and now she's at 0.49 99% of the time. So make sure you have the right plugs. That IAT is also high because the engine is warm and you're stationary.

What plugs did you have before?

you also have an SI, he's got the hatch sport. The engine and tuning isn't the same and I've seen a bunch of other people saying it. My hatch sport will climb to .59 on 21 psi tune if I rev it over 5500rpm. It stays right around .49 90% of the time with some hops to .54 but I usually have to rev over 5500 to get it to move. Since we have higher compression in our engine, I think the KC acts up a bit more than the SI engine.

k.control artificially climb past 5300 RPM in non-si engines and jumps quite high sometimes at revlimit.

Yep. Just a safety mechanism and honestly a very wise move by Honda.
