They say it costs $295 and gives the L15B7 an extra 25 to 28 HP, works best with 91 octane instead of regular and doesn't impact fuel economy. That much power is "hidden" in the same exact engine with the stock intercooler and everything else. Is there a way to do this DIY or is this only possible from Hondata? Note, the link to Hondata's site is dead which is why I am asking if it is real.
If this is real, that bumps the HP and torque of a bone stock CVT L15B7 from 174 HP & 167 TQ close to 200 HP & 200 TQ. Not bad for being the base engine in the hatch. That's damn near Type-S power.
