Is the type of horn sound determined by the actual low/high horns? Or the ECU?

The horn sound comes out of the horns obviously, but would changing the horn units to something different change the type of sound too? Or is that determined by the computer?

Horns are electro-mechanical, meaning their design determines their sound, so yes, changing the horn will alter the sound.
They aren’t digital, like the ones you hear on over-done pick-ups.

Great thanks!

Also... that beeping sound you hear when you unlock/lock the car, where does that come from? Is there a third horn/speaker for that?
