1.5T Is it possible to ride on a PRL Cobra race intake without the ktuner?

I have currently put myself in a terrible situation by installing the air intake before the ktuner just to find out the ktuner is still locked to a different vin. I will eventually get the ktuner issue resolved whether its by getting a new one or unlocking the old one but ultimately I still need to get around in the meantime. A friend suggested I stay under 3k rpms to help me stay out of boost. Is this a potential way of going about this until then? Thank you

If you got the race MAF id say just stay away from it cause your afr is gonna be all wacky until u get the tune
