I've owned a lot of cars over the years and the Civic is one of the best I've driven. But one thing that bugs me is the overly big gap between the fender and tire. At least on my sedan, the gap is really big, even more so in the rear.
When I park in parking lots (which I do daily) I look at other cars to compare and the Civic's wheel gap is larger than most. Parked next to a new Elantra the other day and the gap on that was noticeably smaller. It's surprising considering Honda designed the car to look sporty.
(not my car, but a good pic showing the stock gap)
I'm not one to switch to lowering springs but the car does look so much better lowered. Anyone else think the stock wheel gap is too large?
