Was given the opportunity to try out the invidia R400 exhaust. Overall is well made and the tips are not as cheap as they seem. Sound is deep and sounds amazing. I’ll Been getting better video, some cold starts and some GoPro.

I like the sound and rumble. Ate there any highway or cruising speed drones inside of the car? Is it 3 in piping from the cat back? Also any proven Performance gains? Thanks!

I hope so, I’d keep an eye on it. Warranty is a beautiful thing!
I’ve been working on cars the majority of my life and don’t think I’ve ever seen that much burn off from just a new exhaust.
But, does sound great man! Thanks for the vid

Only if they can prove the exhaust is what caused the damage. Worst case, it doesn’t clear up, put the stock exhaust back on before bringing it in.
Then, no proof of mods.

I hate to be an alarmist but I agree. That looks a lot like burning oil to me.

Maybe there was a significant amount of gunk inside those new pipes and he was just burning it all off....but like you I have never seen that much smoke before.

Maybe just record this same type of video again after a week and see if it’s still smoking?

Yeah that smoke is concerning hope is nothing bad. it does sounds awesome, but I still think the tips need to look thicker.

It is because of the new exhaust! Nothing wrong but normal. It will get better in 50-60 miles

They didn’t have that info available when I went, but I believe list price was in the range of $1400. They have different model for the fk8, I sure they need to figure that out. They also said March will be the release date but don’t hold me against that. Also when I get a chance car I’ll get a video of inside the car.
