Hey folks,
I've had my 18 Si Coupe for over half a year now. It is my daily driver. Love the looks, stick shift, handling and fuel economy.
However, the interior quality is bothering me ALL THE TIME. I've been experiencing and fixing interior trim BSR (buzzing, squeaking and rattling) problems since day 1. I've fixed some central dash rattles and moonroof squeaks.

If I can't fix these BSR issues by the end of this year. I am selling my Si. This is going to kill me.

Three parts that bothers me the most are the:
1) hard plastic A pillar and windshield -> going to try some weather strips.
2) hard plastic upper console trim piece: https://overland-designs.com/products/fk8-civic-type-r/upper-console-trims/
3) hard plastic gauge cluster visor : https://overland-designs.com/products/fk8-civic-type-r/gauge-visor-trim-fk8/
I believe they contribute to 90% of all my BSR sound sources..

I've only found one Alcantara wrapped pieces for sale for FK8 (not for Si). Has anyone here tried getting similar trim pieces? Any pointers are appreciated.

You need to dynamat if you want real reductions. Doors and floors is where a majority of unwanted noise enters the cabin.

Also the A pillar cover is easily detached by removing the bolt under the SRS label. Remove it and add felt tape to the bottom where it contacts the IP. No more cold weather rattle there.
