For those with the rattle around the infotainment console, try taking off the center speaker grill, pull off the speaker and add foam around the wire connector. That fixed it for me.

I've also have a rattle around the same RPM range. I feel the engine is a bit raspy and not buttery smooth in that range (I read that Honda used less damping in the Type R 2.0T so perhaps that's it).

Looks like the rattle is from the center dash.. I've owned the car for 1 week, 800 miles. Will try out the center speaker fix, thanks for the suggestion.

You welcome, I hope that is the fix for most people.

I get it right around 4K. Seems to be coming from the center speaker area on the dash.

It seems like it got worse after I installed lowering springs for some reason - more vibrations from the exhaust I think

My passenger door had a plastic piece that was rattling due to certain RPMs/music. I wedged a small piece of cardboard into one of the panel gaps and it stopped :)

It was below where the window starts, near the top of the door, towards the front of the car. Just underneath the speaker that sits on the windowsill

I have glovebox off. I can feel the plastic piece that vibrates at 3500 rpm. If I press on it, it stops vibrating. So, possibly a harmonic. Adhering sound damping has not stopped it. Anybody solved this yet?

Have a ‘21 R here with this issue that’s been driving me nuts! Have about 1K miles so far. Just tried wrapping the center speaker wire with some foam but didn’t seem to solve it. The search continues.

Will probably try the glove box next.
