It's fully recirculating. You don't run rich. You hear the stock BPV loud and clear with a CAI or short ram. Much safer that way. The aftermarket BPV's BOV's are causing these cars to run rich, and incorrectly. The sound is pretty cool, but better to hear it the right way, instead of jacking up your car to sound like Fast and Furious.
Might not run rich, but will waste funds. It's fully recirculating. You don't run rich.
Hahaha that bov sounds ridiculous
At least it sounds better than the Starlet in this video...
I'm hearing more of the ping of a metal on metal BPV such as the Forge, only a small amount of the whoosh/pssh noise associated with a typical BOV. I've had upgraded BOV on previous cars which were MAP tuned. I've had stock BPV on previous cars which were MAF tuned with a SRI and was able to hear the whoosh/pssh noise much louder than I'm picking up in that video.... might just be a crap mic thoughNot sure why all the hate... Sounds like a typical aftermarket bov to me which is impressive since it's a bpv.
I mean it is a stock intake.... so it would be hard to hear that whoosh. Specially though a youtube video.I'm hearing more of the ping of a metal on metal BPV such as the Forge, only a small amount of the whoosh/pssh noise associated with a typical BOV. Disagree - here's video of my old WRX - crappy cell phone video. Stock BPV - with K&N SRI - can definitely hear the whoosh and pssshI mean it is a stock intake.... so it would be hard to hear that whoosh. Specially though a youtube video.
Stock also makes noiseNot a stock intake though is it? OPs video IS. Big difference between sound of a bpv with a stock intake and a SRI. HUGE.
sounds like a baby hiccup
More like a turtle lol
