Intercooler vs Intercooler with charge pipes

So I will be ordering the PRL intercooler soon and wanted to know if it's worth it to get the charge pipe kit along with it. I plan on going bolt on with a downpipe as well and currently have the PRL HVI. I'm not sure about an exhaust system yet but I will be getting tuned, so is there any real advantage or gains to having the charge pipes as well?

I believe it's been demonstrated that the charge pipes can swell once you start hitting boost levels above stock. Personally I think upgraded pipes are worth it as you're in there anyway.
