After driving the car around for a while I noticed that the rear of the car is ever so slightly lower than the front. I reused all of the factory spring isolators on the top and the bottom when I installed them. After looking for aftermarket isolators and finding none I decided to modify some Mustang Fox body lower control arm urethane spring isolators and that worked perfectly! They were 0.2125" thick and I modified them by cutting off the locating ring so they could sit flush on top of the existing upper isolator. Now the car is sittings level! Now I can get it aligned.

I build cars for a living.....lol! "They come like that" doesn't work for some of us....no Jerry rigging anything, I just put a hard urethane isolator above the existing setup....added slightly less than 1/4" of ride height. If you had a car apart in front of you it totally would make sense. Now the car is totally level.

this seems to be the case with eibach stuff. The Pro Kits I had was the same way. It had kind of a reverse raked look to it.

You're absolutely right! I'm not quite sure why they haven't corrected this issue but I wasn't going to just live with it. Less than 1/4" doesn't sound like much but it totally fixed the issue for me. I'll see how the urethane isolator does long term. If it settles any I'll build a spacer out of 1/4" aluminum plate to replace the urethane. No big deal since it only takes 10-15 minutes to put one in.:headbang:

i feel you. I was already going to be replacing them with swifts so i didn't bother to mess with the eibachs. My OCD was driving me nuts though looking at that reversed rake lol.

Exactly! I literally couldn't stand it! I was actually considering the Swifts but I didn't want a spring with that much rate for a car that for the most part is a daily. Unfortunately the roads around here can also be called minefields because the ridiculous amount of potholes so I need a somewhat supple spring rate to not beat me up too bad!

haha it's not so bad. It is stiffer than the sportlines though.

Sportlines werent out when i got the swifts and idk if i'd wanted to give eibach another try after my experience with the pro kits lol. Good to know you are enjoying it though. At least it looks to be a lot better than the pro kit.

I honestly love the Eibach Sportlines in every respect EXCEPT for the rear ride height issue. I'm just glad it was a super easy fix!!:headbang::doh: Do you have any pictures of your car with the Pro kit showing the rear sag? I'd like to see that.

yeah crazy right. It was pretty lame. Was pretty disappointed in the rake look along with how the pro kit felt. I don't understand why they have it made like that ...

I've heard that Pro Kit has some strange handling characteristics due to the rear rate being softer than the front. I've really grown to like the "feel"the of the car with the Sportlines. I'm sure that the larger TE37SL's and RE71R's didn't hurt either.

The ProKit rates are exactly 10% stiffer f/r vs stock. :shrug
