I haven't gone the route of getting a catted high flow downpipe because of potential problems with inspection. Has anyone in Mass gotten an aftermarket downpipe, catted or not, and had any issues with inspection?

haven’t had one specifically for the TypeR YET! , but will get a catless downpipe soon thO. I did have one on my TL TypeS Catless downpipe from RV6 and the defouler (spacer) they provided was enough to trick O2 sensor to read ready, never had an issue getting a sticker. As long as your sensors are ready and Check engine light isn’t tripped, you will have no issues passing inspection sticker.
