There is really not much to gain with catless dowpipes. The gain difference is minimal. Plus the catless makes the exhaust sound more raspy.
Exactly my thought man! Then you can potentially run into emissions problems or possibly throw a code on a rare occasion

How is the drone in the cabin? Sustainable at highway cruising speeds? Enough to have a comfortable conversation w friends? Or not at all close? Only asking because someone from earlier said the HKS HiPower has a lot of drone and has a lot of deep bass to it?
Honestly I don’t think the drone is bad at all. My wife and I just drove it home yesterday from getting tuned which was a 3 and a half hour drive and she even said it isn’t bad at all.

Alright man thank you for the info. Much appreciated! Still so undecided between exhausts, so many to choose from but looking for certain specifications in terms of sound

I have the Map race exhaust, stock fp/dp and it’s honestly loud enough for me, I’d probably like it a little louder but that’s what a dp is for eventually, here is a picture of the exhaust system, I have a coupe lowered on D2, I probably could rotate the pipes more to have more room but so far so good, also doesn’t help that I park on a small incline.

I've had the greddy sp exhaust on my car for about a year, and it survived a salty PA winter and still looks brand new. The looks aren't for everyone (myself included, but there weren't many exhausts at the time and I'm impatient) but the drone is minimal for my 50 mile highway round trip commute and it sounds great, deep and throaty but not too loud. I get some nice pops as well. Just wish the mufflers weren't so f'ing huge

Wow that looks mad close to the ground. Could be the angle. You have never heard any snap under your car? Could you measure clearance? I am going to get a measurement on mine tomorrow with stock suspension. If your not having issues then I should be fine with sportlines! Good to know.

Also, worth noting poly exhaust hangers will help a little. I had them in my old Civic with a WS2 exhaust, and it definitely helped keep the exhaust sturdy and maybe helped with sag a little. Overall I think you can get a set of 4 or something for $40 I wanna say.

I have the hks hipower with the maperformance downpipe and frontpipe. It’s not super loud at all and just real deep. I love how it sounds

I have an aFe Takeda 3" to 2-1/2" 304 Stainless Steel Cat-Back with Blue Flame tips. Definitely louder than the stock

How do you like it? This is the exhaust I’ve been debating on purchasing! Also are you on base map?

If you want sound and a good look, Go with the Vibrant 1040 and a resonator delete. It looks good and for under $300 total, you can have it all done. There will be NO drone and a very nice deep sound when you get on it.

I only changed the original down pipe to an Afe Takeda. The sound has changed: it is louder, deeper...so much
that I had to install soundproofing in the trunk
I kept the rest of the original exhaust system because there is not much to gain by changing it.
The installation is easy, the quality excellent and the price around 500 US $. I love it.
Good luck in your decision and purchase.
Are you running a tune?

Does this remove the stock mufflers?
