Yeah, our Odyssey ran for over 225,000 miles (no turbo of course). I do love the daily drives, and my wife says we can't buy another car right now anyway.

Over 15,000 in my first year. I love my daily driver, but I'm starting to worry about the miles. Is it worth the money to keep the miles off of the R? I don't want a beater with mechanical concerns.

I will hit 91,000 miles today. Bought in June 2017. This car has been a great daily, and even though I'm looking at getting an Audi or a Gladiator within the next year, I am fine continuing to drive the CTR until I decide to change.

I have the total opposite problem and it's probably not my fault. Even before I purchased the CTR, the Ford Focus I daily drive I only put around 10,000-12,000 Km/year. I estimate with my driving habits I'll probably put about, at most, 6000 Km on the CTR each year which realistically means in 10 years from now with the current odometer I'll only have between 70,000 - 75,000 Km.

For perspective the first used Type R I went to look at was a 2019 with 80,000 Km.

My Focus and SAAB also both had 75,000 Km at the time of purchase. In ten years my son will turn 18. So basically Happy Birthday son here's a CTR with 75,000 Km. Enjoy. Or maybe the value of the 10th Gen Type R will explode and I'll be able to sell it for $1.5 million.

Holy shit! I thought I was packing on the miles. Got the car February 2019 and I just hit 29,500mi and have been freaking out a little. Then I remembered it's a Honda. My dad's 1990 accord finally took a shit after 500,000mi. I want to have the R for so long that I can get one of those collector license plates lol I googled collector plates for Colorado and here's what I found:

32 years

Collector plates are available to vehicles that are at least 32 years of age and that are not driven more than 4,500 miles per year.

i think at 32yrs old it probably should just be driven 4500mi a year lol
