Over 15,000 in my first year. I love my daily driver, but I'm starting to worry about the miles. Is it worth the money to keep the miles off of the R? I don't want a beater with mechanical concerns.

If driving it puts a smile on your face each and every day, then no, drive the CTR and enjoy it.

Enjoy it man, it's a nice dependable fun car. I'd rather put miles on a fun car than suffer in a lame car just to drive the fun car less often.

It's a Honda. It should easily reach 200,000 miles, and with some care maybe 300,000 miles. If you baby it, and use it mostly for highway, somebody has a 10th gen with 500,000 miles on it.

Resale is another story.

Two reasons I personally have another car.

1. I see traffic accidents basically every single day in the busy rush hour traffic, so I'd like to save mine from such a fate.

2. Winter is harsh.

Don't care about mileage as a well maintained car will last.

This car is a keeper don't plan on getting rid of it. Just need to find a car for the wife, because i fear her driving a manual transmission. Especially this car lol
Check out the Subaru crosstrek - such a great car lots of pep and that CVT transmission is really nice. Helped my Mom get one about a year or so ago and it's just a great all around car.

What is your history with accidents?
