Hey I bought an Atoto S8 and I’m trying to wire it as a new aftermarket radio. Only thing I’m worried about is short circuiting something on accident. The wiring diagram for the ATOTO in the picture I attached says that the orange wire is for ‘dimmer/ illumination’ which confuses me, when I get the 1731 -NAV harness, do I use the illumination wire or dimmer wire? I read on some forums that if I use the wrong wire I can short circuit my whole dashboard.
