Those of us older than 25 appreciate the look of chrome Those horrendous black wheels (what is the deal with black wheels?) are coming off my CTR as soon as it gets here and some nice nickle/alloy are going on, as soon as I find some that I like. Why would anyone want chrome??

for door sill you dont need to remove the head unit.Got these in today but won't get to install them until later. Having said that, I don't see anywhere that you need to take the head unit out. You do need to route a wire in that general area, though.

If you think age has anything to do with taste, you've still got some growing up to do.Those of us older than 25 appreciate the look of chrome Those horrendous black wheels (what is the deal with black wheels?) are coming off my CTR as soon as it gets here and some nice nickle/alloy are going on, as soon as I find some that I like.
I think there's an OEM carbon fiber one. But it's $$$Is anyone aware of a non-illuminated door sill that fits a 2017 Civic hatchback sport. I would rather not buy the illuminated since I would not hook it up.
Any chance someone can send me the OEM one without the illumination on? I want to see what it looks like.
Finally, if there is a good aftermarket/non OEM one you know of, please list.
Thank you
The sills are about 3/8" thick is side profile. hope this helpsFor those that have the illuminated door sill protectors, how raised are they above the level of the actual door sills? Do they look at all out of place? I ask because in some of the pictures that I've seen they look like there fairly raised relative to the level of the door trim, especially when compared to standard sill protectors that are essentially flat plates on top of the door sill. I like the look of the illuminated R against the black paint, but don't want them if they look like raised bumps.
