It's worth it. It's especially great to have the heated underground parking. Haven't had to use my snow brush all year.
As for the car washes... I go to the ProWash on Larkin, just before you get to Randall. I go during off hours and have no problems hand washing. The have air dryer's in the bays which is a nice touch, and it's not real expensive.

+1 for a meet soon!!! Friday night or Saturdays are best for me!! If I knew more about setting one up, I would be all over it. As is, I have NO clue. Hopefully someone can plan one soon.

Working with Boomba right now to plan a dyno day they had also mentioned they would be ok with us using their shop parking after hours as long as we talked to them ahead of time. I will reach out to them and see if we can get something going for one of these upcoming weekends. Their shop is located in Wood-dale just outside Schaumburg .
If I knew more about setting one up, I would be all over it. As is, I have NO clue. Hopefully someone can plan one soon.

I'm definitely interested depending on date and time. I'm very curious to know what kind of power my car is making. I work across the street from them and stopped by their shop once to pickup bypass valve.

for touchless i've use Tyler's in St Charles since it's near my work. it doesn't get all the dirt off though, i use it mainly in the winter.
otherwise i use Optimum No Rinse soap and it takes me about 20 minutes to do a hand wash with a 1 bucket.
