I love the way the NSX looks, but for the price, it carries a bit too much honda, specifically with the interior. Mostly it's in drastic need of a tech update to catch back up with the rest of the Acura and Honda lineup... entirely new infotainment (even the civic has a newer unit than the NSX i think). As well as swapping out some of the knobs and buttons for proper halo car level materials (it shares quite a bit from the honda parts bin). Other than those gripes, i love the styling, and the performance and added bonus of e-AWD make it a very good daily driver super car. I'd actually rather spend the money on a grand tourer super car like the Polestar 1 or an Aston.
Yeah the NSX checks none of the boxes for me if I were shopping for a super car. Looks mediocre, interior is not amazing, doesn't sound great at all, doesnt have that "wow" factor I look for in a supercar either. It's pretty fast but still, I could see myself getting an Audi R8 to be honest. Probably the last of the high revving naturally aspirated v10 from Audi, looks amazing, and still has performance that'll take down 95% of what's on the road.
If I was a millionaire and $160k meant nothing to me, then I'd pick either the GT3, Corvette, or the NSX (Order goes from most wanted to least). I feel like there are better cars than the NSX for that price, but I'm a sucker for Honda/Acura and thats the only reason it made my top 3.
Now, if I was just given the $160k, I second gtman's response. I'd buy a CTR and put the rest away.
There was a red Acura NSX at Big Willow Sunday. Looked pretty sweet and seemed really fast on the track. I’d consider one if had that kind of disposable cash... but it would have to be a manual transmission for me but don’t think it is available in that configuration.
If I had $160k to play with I'd prebuy an R34 GTR V-Spec 2 and pocket the rest. Then I'd wait til I could import it, drive it for a bit and sell it for double what I payed.
Sadly, I can't even say Nissan GT-R anymore. Frankly, I lost interest in Godzilla. I just hate the INTERIOR, it feels and looks like I'm buying an Altima. Time to update.
I fell in love with Audi a few years ago, I love how they became more aggressive in their designs. Their interiors IMO is the best in the market which explains why I bought the 2020 Q3 Progressiv (wanted the Technik but out of my budget).
If I had $160k which is what, $300k in Canadian. LOL. My pick is the 2020 Audi RS5.
None of the above. I'm already paying more than this, monthly, for 2 cars and child support. C/S falls off, next year. Papa may be looking at Huracans.
