So this may be normal but today was the first day I've noticed it... I pulled into my napping spot in a random parking lot today, and turned the car off, then back on so I can idle without the DRL's on, and the car's temp gauge wasn't as warm as I wanted so I revved it up a little. Blip, blip and something feels weird. BLIIIP! and at around 3000 rpm it doesn't rev any higher. Huh? I pull out of my spot and kind of gun it around the lot and revs go over 3k like normal. I get back in my spot, repeat the power off and on cycle and again bumping off 3k RPM. I assume this is some sort of safety feature I was unaware of? Has it always been like this or do I have some weird problem?
