ICB Motorsport's/J's Racing CF/FRP Hood

Has anyone purchased and installed a icb motorsports/ first molding cf hood yet. I know they are in stock at icb motorsports and on evasive motorsports website. I decided to purchase a icb/first molding designed hood over the varis designed hood due to the unique style of the hood. Just wondering if anyone has installed one yet, thanks

wow it looks amazing, i actually seen your car on icb instragram profile!! i like the paint scheme. I am actually supposed to receive my hood from central freight shipping company tomorrow haha just before the state i live in goes on lock down for 30 days.

Keeping it CF for now. But my plan was exactly that paint scheme that the 777R did. The hood is on the car now. I'll try and post pics soon.

Paint and clear coat significantly adds to the cost. Was quoted $700. I’m sure there are places that will do it for less.

I'm okay with spending money for paint as I want it done nicely and not some half ass job for sure...

These look to be the possibilities for us CW peeps. Very difficult to decide, they all look great. Can you please post a picture of your CF hood when time permits?

Oh man, now you have me looking at the J,S hood - lol. I kind of like the slight bit of the center intake unpainted in the first pic but everything else including the side vents painted out for a more OEM style look...

Can’t wait to see what they look like when they get mounted up. Please let us know what additional hardware or work is involved in mounting the J’s hood.

Also, as asked above please let us know if you notice an improvement in cooling.

wow this thread has really blown up in the last few days. so far i have seen four paint schemes for this hood. They all look great, i received my frp/cf hood yesterday, took it out of bubble wrap today. The hood is so light in weight and the construction is perfect, i like how i can see little waves in the carbon fiber where the cf was layed. I will be taking mine to paint soon. Painting it all red with the side vents and center vent solid red fading into candy red into carbon fiber. Hard to explain in words, ill post photos when its done.
