I need to buy new rear brake pads for the Type R, has anyone figured out what the proper sizing is yet?

@Banshee If possible, could you please tell me which bits of this set are needed to service the brakes? I finally picked up the same set, but I'm trying to put together just the pieces needed to save space.
I am not home now, but I will try and look at the set when I get home tomorrow night.

I would just get the brake piston reset tool from harbor freight

I just bled my brakes after one track day and I’m at 3300 miles. The rear pads have less than an 1/8” of life left. I was a bit shocked. Are others experiencing the rear pads wearing out so fast?

Yes, same here. Sometimes, if you don't turn the VSA all the way off, the car will apply the rear brakes on turns. You can get another 8-15mph corner exit speeds if you are experienced enough to turn it off.

What did you replace them with? I got a quote from Honda for something like 190.

I killed the rear left rotor after the equivalent of 3.5 HPDE days. No pad material on the inside. Turning all the VSA related functions off should help extend pad life.

I concur with this.
