I miss my C4 Corvette. It was my daily driver for 12 years.

A lot of people bashed the C4 and that was because the first year 1984 Chevy had that horrible cross fire injection 85 went with the TPI
The C4 was the start of the better handling Vettes
Going in competition with the European super cars( although earlier generation Vettes were still good handling cars at the time and for what they were) in the mid sixties and early seventies Chevy was also marketing them as muscle cars by installing big blocks in them. The C4 is still my favorite generation Vette other than a 1963 split window with fuel injection but the C4 definitely had that 1980s European styling which still looks great today

I’ve had a C4 ( the car I learned how to drive manual in in 1997) a C5, and C6 Corvettes.
The C4 even though not the fastest in a straight line was definitely the most fun to drive. No question.
I ran many autocrosses in the C4, it was an absolute blast.

After 4 years of Si ownership, I'm still trying to figure out which car is more fun. Comfort, Si. Acceleration, Vette. The experience of being in the car, Vette. Milage, Si. Handling, I'm still working at this one.
