Looks good. Thanks for putting in the time to improve the design and functionality of the site/forum.

Really I think we should do a poll. Imo I don't, I think the older one was more phone user friendly.
I personally barf when I have to use my phone. My tablet, not so bad, but I PC most everything unless I'm not at home. But to your point, perhaps suggestion m.civicx.com for mobile versions? ;)

They should just make an app at this point. I mean they got the community to back it up with for the $$$ for it to go to development

I love it. Feels much much much better on my phone. Not to mention editing comments doesn't delete what had already been typed in

Being an old guy, I find the change aggravating. We'll see how it does.

I do find that the "signature" being so "high" from the bottom irritating.

Completely useless but on par with other car forums that got a "modern" interface shoved down users' throats. Just look at the amount of dead space on the sides that I highlighted in red in the attached.

Honda Civic 10th gen I like the site facelift. deadspace

Can't say I'm a fan either. It just seems more text is packed into less space. We'll see, with time I may learn to like it. None the less, someone has spent time to get it done, kudos to them.

I miss the "recent posts" feature. Unlike "new posts", it would show every post whether it was read or unread and was very useful.

Old one looked just as modern and felt more intuitive, this one feels a bit more....cluttered for some reason. Not a huge fan of it but i'll get used to it I guess. That and the absence of the "recent posts" like @gtman said is also super annoying, I used that tab all the time.

EDIT: Was messing with the preferences and there's another theme for this forum called "civic-x" that replaces the "light theme". IMO it's less cluttered and is easier on the eyes, only problem with it is that the thread titles are not bolded at all and are instead a gray color that blends into the background somewhat.

I figured it out the recent posts mystery.

Go to New Posts. You'll see "filters" on top of the list. Untick "unread threads". Save that as the default setup and it becomes the old Recent Posts view.

Also, thanks jred for the tip on the CivicX skin. Much better.

I very much dislike the new facelift, a lot of rabble-rabble-rabble general resistance to change, but I have one major specific beef with the new version. As far as I can tell, the page number list under each thread title has disappeared on the mobile site. I very frequently navigate to specific pages using these quick links and now I have to click on the tread and then navigate to the page I want.
