I personally don’t have it, but many in this forum do, and swear by it. Probably the best bang for your buck as far as power modifications go.
I have 2017 LX Hatch 1.5T and the Ktuner with TSP stage 1 is amazing. PRL shortram or cobra intake gives it a nice sound. I mixed the PRL with a BOV spacer plate for the turbo waistgate and it sounds AMAZING. (CVT Transmission)

I have always regreted doing pricey mods on a car. I spent a couple thousand hooking up my Acura CL back in the day and count as one of the dumbest financial/hobby moves I have ever done. I was pumping every penny I had into that car when I should've just bought a nicer newer car that is faster from the factory has more life.

is it worth it even if i dont have a turbo in it?
Its definitely worth the money to get a tuner. It allows you to change things on the fly and fine tune your car as you go. If you don't plan on really doing much then by itself its only a slight gain.

The EX never had the 1.5T. The EX-T did. The EX-T and EX-L were dropped for 2019, so you now have to move up to the Touring to get the 1.5T.
The US 2019, 2020 EX has a 1.5T.
They removed the previous (2016-2018) EX from the lineup in the US and renamed the EX-T the EX.

In Canada they removed the EX-T from the lineup, so the "EX" is still the same EX from 2016 to 2018 with minor changes.

I missed that. Thank you for the correction!
