I just noticed this huge ding above the driver side back door. I don't know how it got there or where it came from....

Can anyone help me out here on what would be the best way to fix this (and price range)?

Thanks

Thanks for the estimate. Do you think I can possibly do a paintless dent removal and just use some touch up paint for a cheaper fix?

Yeah, that would save you a good chunk of change. just remember the touch up paint wont match 100%

Ouch. That would require more than PDR. Touch up paint might work just fine. I would try getting that cleared up quickly, definitely an area that would rust if not treated.

Thanks for the reply guys. I contacted a local dent repair dude and he's worried that he'll peel off extra pain if he does the glue method. In the mean time I tried applying some touch up paint to prevent rusting.

Do you guys know if accessing that spot from the back is easy/possible? It seems like I would have to remove the entire side exterior panel. It's mostly the dent that's bothering me at this point :(

Looks a lot better with the touch up paint on. I feel like a PDR would get that out though.

Thanks for giving me hope. hehe
That type of damage reminds me a lot from the damage on my previous car. I found out that the neighborhood kids were shooting their air pellet gubs and it hit the car.
