He is wrong or doesn’t know any better. All wheels should be hub centric. You want weight and load on the center or hun and not the lugsThanks. I was confused as when i inquire for the installation and i asked about that, he said that it doesnt need one as the rims is lug-centric. But i guess he's wrong.
Plastic is cheaper and typically does not seize to the bore of the wheel like the metal ones do. They can melt a bit if your tracking your car hard and putting a lot of heat in the corners from braking. The metal ones is what I normally use for durability but I apply a little grease so removing them is easy.Is there a benefit to using plastic as opposed to metal? Looking at amazon, for example, I see the metal ones sell more than the plastics. I went ahead and bough both metal and plastic to play around with.
Sorry to revive an old thread (again), but I realized my installation pack did not bring hub rings to install my Konig wheels (https://www.performanceplustire.com...g-wheels/illusion-black-ball-cut-red/ws:18x8/). Can someone assist with the size of hub rings I would need? I have a 2021 Sporthatch and I got the 18x8.
