I've been noticing a loud noise coming from the HPFP in the last 100 miles, the car only has 800 miles. It is much louder on a cold start and will get a little quieter once the car is warmed up. It occurs with light throttle or between 2500-3000 rpm depending on the gear. Are the HPFP in our cars this loud? I had autotech HPFP internals in my last car and that was not nearly as loud as this. I'll be scheduling an appointment to get it checked out, just curious to see if anyone else had this issue.

Our engines have notoriously loud clicking, mainly from the pump. Yours sounds louder than normal, but you also have your phone right next to it so it’s hard to know for sure. Best way to know is by just listening to another R in person. Most techs don’t know what a running R should sound like, sadly.
