Lots of things you can do here to help mitigate that. Both electronically and mechanically. Adjusting the tune is one part of it. Another thing would be upgrading the rear engine mount, better tires, dialed in suspension and such,

mods?

I'm stock, but on +9 with scramble Hondata flash, no issues with wheel hop. To give us an idea of how you are driving, could you upload a datalog?

So i have the skunk 2 springs in there now, just lowered air pressure in tires as well seems to help a little.

A major factor to prevent wheel hop is engine/trans mounts. Also suspension bushings. Be careful right now I have snapped exhaust Downpipes and control arms on accident due to damn wheel hop.

It was terrible in the RSXs. The solution was upgrading the motor mounts at the expense of greater in-cabin vibration.

Any time I launched my type-S hard I felt like I was trying to shake my fillings out.

Tires, ride the clutch pedal more will be easier to manipulate tire slip.

This, mainly the part about riding the clutch (I called it "feathering" the clutch). Keep the revs up, and feed gradually more torque to the wheels by slowly letting the clutch engage.

This is pretty much the only way to do it without installing rigid motor mounts. This is also a big part of why I stopped going to the dragstrip, because I didn't want to abuse my clutch any more than a daily driven car deserves.
