Here is my DIY fake vents mod that I did a while back. You need a step drill-bit to first make a hole into the plastic. Then you will use a dremel to grind down all the plastic. Use a mask bc the smell of burning plastic is nothing to trifle with. Also there will be lots of plastic bits shooting at you as you use the dremel. While you are at it, swap out your horn too. After all the cut and grind, use a piece of gutter guard from Home Depot to put behind the fake vents. This will prevent all rocks and debris getting into the vents. That's it, folks! Open a can of ice cold beer and enjoy your DIY.
Total cost include all materials ~$20 and half of your Sunday. Better than spending $100+ on other vents for sure.
