Hi guys,
Looking for how to De-Pin the Oxygen Sensor connectors?
on the sensor side, not the engine wire harness side...
Goal is to get the connector off, slip on some ultra high temp Viton heat shrink on the cables ( it's got an extremely high continuous heat rating, best you can get short of' NASA...) and then stick the connector back on. The heat shrink is only rated 2:1 so no way can I get it over the connector and still shrink it down.
Tried having a push/pull on the tab inside the connector with a pick tool, (shown at top inside the connector in the first image)
but wasn't seeing much joy.
