Just replaced my tires after 54,000 mi.
KHUMO ECSTA from Tire Rack. They don't have a protective strip to save the tire rims from curbs.

You have quite a few years on me but my once great memory is starting to suck, too.

It's like I always say. We humans seem to have a 50 year warranty. After that, things slowly go downhill.

I got 63,000 off my original Continentals.
Unfortunately my continentals lasted in the 30k area and being rotated every 5k but that’s a Florida thing also batteries. These tire stores or companies make a killing in Florida even with the billions of potholes in New York the tires on my cars lasted longer

2018 Hatchback Sport , 6 MT, Turbo
OEM were Continental's
I'm not a fast and furious driver anymore. I'm more fuel conscious now. The new tires had a little rubber ringing initially but after 5,000 miles they are now noise free and softer ride than the Conti's. AVG 36-40 mpg.
Once a week traction test on sweeping exits to check traction. Same with full throttle 0-60 with engine hot to ensure fuel injectors and pump are clear. (Italian quick tune). Twice a year use of 1/2 bottle of Lucas fuel injector cleaner usually during season change (gas to gasahol)
Using Liquid Moly (1/4 bottle) with each oil change (bonds to metal surfaces under stress) due to possible fuel dilution. I am taking out more oil than replacing during oil changes. I had the OEM fix but no notible differences. I seldom warm up the car at idle, just drive easy the first 10 minutes. the heat comes up faster. One of the first cars I have ever owned that has such an efficient cooling system.
I use a Scan Guage II for monitoring boost. Turbo eliminates a lot of down shifts. Seldom using 5th gear.
6 spd M/T oil change with AmsOil one time. Slightly better gear change feel.

Hope this helps any one else, I own, don't lease.
