Wow that's a lot haha. I got my car for 23k with all taxes and fees. With interest and the extended warranty it came out to about 28k in total
Yeah, I kinda went crazy with options on my EX. Red splitters front to back, black alloy wheels, tailgate spoiler, all interior lighting options, etc... I have a trade-in that I'm getting $5k over what I owe and I'm putting $7k down. With TTL + Gap, I'll be financing less than $20k. I was planning for $16,500, but it looks like it'll be closer to $18,500 or so.

Iā€™ve seen a few SGP hatches in my area, but not another Type R yet. Not sure if Iā€™m the only one or not cuz I stick to my small area and donā€™t drive much.

The dealer I got mine from was expecting another one to come in but I think it may have gone out of state.

Modern steel (Gunmetal, Tungsten, Charcoal, Dark Grey, etc.) is freaking everywhere.

Iā€™ve maybe seen 3-4 civics in modern steel since Iā€™ve owned mine. However I see dozens of different makes/models in the same color everyday.

The other day I was leaving the grocery store and happened to notice my car and the 2 cars on either side of me (5 total) were all the same color. Lol

I haven't even seen another FK8 while in my own. But i've seen way more Golf R and WRX STI since I picked up my FK8 lol.

One day I'll bump into another wild FK8, but until then, they were all when I was driving my 9th gen or ones I've seen in a dealership..

I've noticed that too! Gray colors seem to be so popular, no matter the car! I always see this forester around that's a similar color to the SGP haha

I had a 75yr old Vietnam Vet checking out my car telling me he had 2 older ones at home but he really likes my car and color at the UPS store. .
But why does he like your car and color at the UPS store? What is it about that place?

A 2dr Hatchback anywhere does not make sense. How would a 2dr hatch make sense in a big city? So Honda should just replace the 4dr hatch with the 2dr because it's unique? If you need a smaller car, you can get a Fit, or heck even a smart car. If you need a tiny car to live in a big city, then maybe you need to learn how to drive again. Just because I live in a small town doesn't mean I drive a huge pickup truck or anything. The reason why I got the civic was because it's a small compact car.
A two door hatchback makes a lot of sense. If you are single or for a second car Iā€™ve had two door hatchbacks
1983 mustang, 1986 escort, 1991 escort Gt , and a 2004 Tiburon GT these were all two door hatchbacks and yes you can put a bicycle in the back. Iā€™ve posted this before thereā€™s a lot of people out there want a two door car being a coupe or a hatchback and every auto manufacturer just builds four doors SUVs and trucks. Hell you canā€™t even find a two door pickup. Yes I have a coupe because itā€™s a two door and give Honda credit for not killing it ( yet) if it was a hatchback it would be a little more practical but the seats do fold down for more cargo room. Not saying anything bad about the civic hatchback it would have been my 2nd choice but itā€™s a four door. And you mentioned a fit a fit is also a four door hatchback

I have to agree with daniellee here. In today's market a 2 door hatch would be such a small niche that it isn't worth producing. Hyundai recognized that and came up with their unique 3 door Veloster concept.

When you think hatchback, you think convenience and flexibility. Four doors just makes the most sense by far.
I know this is off subject but Iā€™ve test driven both the Saturn 3 door coupe and the veloster I know it convenient to put the third door on the passenger side but itā€™s a big blind spot Saturn did it right by putting it on the driver side no blind spot

But no one wants 2dr cars anymore, there has to be a reason for manufacturers phasing them out, right? And yes, you can argue the practicality, but the fact of the matter is that Honda already has a 4dr hatchback, and a coupe. Would they get rid of the coupe to add another hatch into the lineup? Or get rid of the 4dr hatch and replace it with the 2dr? Both options do not make any sense to me. Also, yes the fit is a 4dr, but it is smaller than the civic. If you want a practical car that is smaller than the civic hatch, then get the fit. Even if you're single, having that back row of seats is still useful. What if there comes a situation where you need to have people in your car? Maybe you want to start Uber or Lyft? And lets not act like the current civic hatch is some huge car, it is not big at all. In fact, my hatch is one of the shortest cars on any parking lot I park at. So why would there be a need to make it shorter and smaller? Car manufacturers know the car market better than any of us do, so there must be a reason why Honda made the hatch a 4dr. Just saying.

If nobody wants a two door then why is it that Honda still holding on to the civic coupe the reason they got rid of the accord coupe because of price it was the same as a mustang or Camaro plus an accord is a bigger car
But if you notice the coupe sport is selling also the sedan. And Uber is dangerous do you really want a stranger in your car itā€™s almost like picking up a hitchhiker back in the 70s & 80s yes you will make money but you put your life in danger

Who else is making 2dr cars? And how many coupes do you see on the road? I see way more sedans and hatchbacks. Then what do you propose they do? Offer a 2dr hatch and a 4dr hatch? That doesn't make much sense at all

I assuming you would probably like a four door mustang? Like the ridiculous four door Dodge Charger
Ask the posters on this site why did they buy a coupe ( 2 door) once again I like the civic hatchback if they didnā€™t have a coupe I would have gotten it I and a few thousand people out there want I affordable two door car

Few thousand out of how many millions? No I don't want a 4dr sports car lol 2dr cars are usually seen as more sportier. Which is why the majority of people don't want them.
