How often do you remove, clean, and re-oil your cold air intake? (PRL Cobra)

For those of you with the PRL Cobra or similar cold air intakes located in front wheel wells, what’s your maintenance look like for it?

It’s kind of a pain to remove the cone filter now that it’s in the front wheel well, but given the location, I’d imagine it gets dirty faster than a typical intake pulling from the engine bay.

I know this likely depends on use case or how much you drive the car, but any general recommendations would be appreciated.

Every other oil change for me. I keep a spare filter ready to go all the time. Just quicker to change without having to clean and oil in one go.

many do it at 20k miles but i personally avoid oiled air filters like the pleague hahaha
