Hello, I'm a new comer. I just used the stage 2 program of ktuner for my 2019 MT Civic. How much oil do I need to add? The dealer told me that I should add 4 liters, but I'm not sure

I don’t think most of us follow what you are asking?

What do you mean by stage 2 ? Are you running ethanol?

The dealer told you to add 4 liters of oil? Why?

I'm sorry, it should be ktuner base map 2
He asked me to add 4 liters of engine oil, saying that it could better protect the engine. Is that true?

So I recall the 1.5 liter taking 4.7 quarts of oil.
1 liter is about 1.1 quarts so ……

To be clear, the dealer told you 4 more liters of oil because you are using base map 2?

I’m curious, what “dealer” gave you a suggestion to add oil when using a “tune” that most dealers won’t likely know much about and likely failed to mention anything about voiding your warranty once using said tune?

He suggested adding 4 more liters? For a total of 8 liters? Please clarify.

For a total of 4 liters, Yes, he said so because I used the base map 2, This dealer is “ktuner China”
He said that the base map 2 is safe, so there is no need to worry about the warranty

You guys roll dirty.
So yeah assuming you are referring g to the 1.5 liter engine, then I am sure 4.7 quarts will do.
I’d check your owners manual first ! I’m not sure what exactly Honda runs in China for an engine.
Good Luck

The 1.5t engine calls for 3.7 quarts or 3.5 liters when doing an oil and filter change. Normally I fill with 4 quarts or 3.78 liters.

Why would you be adding oil for a tune? Are you doing a oil change? And a oil filter? The car will hold 3.7 quarts for full oil and filter change. If thats what your wondering but it seems nobody even knows what your trying to ask.

The ktuner dealer told me that I should add 4 liters of engine oil, otherwise my engine would be damaged. I don't know whether it is necessary to add so much engine oil. That's all
I can't speak English. I use translation software to communicate with you. It may be difficult to understand the description. I'm sorry

there is no way or any case that you will need to add an extra 4ltr of oil

DO NOT DO THAT

no matter what tune you use or what tuner you have DO NOT ADD EXTRA OIL

the only thing you may need to do is change your engine oil a little more often and that it's it

your engine must have at all times 3.5~4ltrs of oil none more for sure and of course not less

Anything over 4 quarts is going to cause problems. Add however much you need to hit the top mark on the dip stick
