$182/6 months with progressive. That’s as part of a multi car policy though. I will say that I switched companies shortly after buying this car. My old insurer wanted almost $800/6 months for the exact same coverage.

140 a month. 500 deductible model year newer replacement and towing with erie. And told them 30k miles a year and it went down from my 18si with 5k miles a year. And I'm 25 single. I thought it would be alot more.

In Canada I pay around $2400 CAD/year for full coverage (collision, liability, fire, theft, insurance carry-over for rental cars, etc. etc.). 35 year old male with no at-fault accidents on record and I use the car to commute which adds about $30/mo.
My guy how many tickets do you have lol. Just kidding I live in the middle of nowhere in Ontario and now work from home so just had them reduce to less than 1000kms a month. 26, 2 speeding tickets (1 before the R). I do however work for the company so get a discount of around 15%. I also referred my parents and got like $50 off a month.

I pay less than $100 a month. Like $1160 a year.

Maybe worth shopping around for insurance?

Haha none. I am in Alberta so it might just be higher here. It would be significantly cheaper if I didn't use the car to commute (about $30-40/mo less). I also have a rider for free rental car insurance that mirrors my own but I think that's not a lot extra. Going from a regular civic to the Type R was a $600/yr increase. Yours is cheap for sure!

I used to pay $5040/year (420 a month) when I lived in Brampton

Toronto isn't any better at $3360/year (280 a month)

That’s absurd. I’d be driving a Prius. Or a bus pass.

Yea don't live in Brampton if you want to drive lmao. Markham is a fairly high cost area as well. The more sketchy things that happen in that area insurance wise (large injuries, potential fraud etc) the more YOU pay for that criminal activity for living there.

Actually it might be going up soon to $485 every 6 months. They want $85 for $15k in aftermarket wheel/aero coverage.
Wow!! Arizona insurance rates must be way higher because I pay $1104 every 6 months with Allstate and that is with a clean driving record and multi-vehicle/policy discount.

I have some pretty hefty coverage on mine plus accident forgiveness etc. 32M Allstate and 190/mo. No tickets, no multi car discount, homeowner. Clean record.

$176/mo. Recent speeding ticket coupled with the fact that i'm a young male doesn't help much.

I'm 37, no accident or ticket in 10+ years, recently did online defensive driving for more discount, I use the 10% cash back drivewise app every 6 months, multi car policy (wife and mine) + homeowners insurance, and car is paid off.

Oh! Not a lot of people seem to know, but if you do a direct debit payment with allstate for the entire 6 months payment at once they give you a pretty good discount over paying monthly or by credit card.
