Like I mentioned in an earlier post I used Gabi.com and they got me down about 350 per 6m9nths, my girlfriend just used gabi as well and it got her down about 250 per 6 months so I recommend if your looking for a cheaper rate try them out. It was pretty easy too. And no I'm not affiliated with them... Haha

2 mil liability? Holy shit who needs that much liability!? I've never heard of liability that high in the states, mine only allows up to $500k

Minimum in canada(that I've seen) is 1 million. But I chose to go to 2mil. as its only a couple dollars difference.
And if something happens, say I hit a journey man trades person(alberta oil patch) they're making a fat 6figs every year and can't work because of me. And sue me for lost wages ect. Thats going to add up quickly.

My mom drives for a living in hone care for seniors and the MINIMUM she was able to get was 3mil.

I just switched to Progressive from AAA. I'm pretty amazed how cheap it is. I'm expecting my rates to go up after this first policy though. I have a motorcycle policy as well.

Traded the 2017 Sport 6mT for 2020 Si sedan and was surprised the insurance was about the same. I think it went up $100 on the year. It's about $1200/year. I'm old, married with clean record (in last 10 years lol). Fairly high coverage due to it being a work car ($500 deductible etc).

Are you a veteran? If yes, then that is another variable that would work in your favor. Theres always discounts and lower rates. AAA and USAA love them some veterans.

I think that was the only other thing not mentioned above.
