Just curious how much people pay for auto insurance per month for their Si. I have nationwide and pay 142 a month. I know different deductibles and coverage will vary and impact your cost. My girlfriend pays way less than me for her Jetta and was wondering if it the car or my history that has me paying much more.

Your age demographic plays a much larger role in in the cost of your premiums. Males age 16-40 are the highest risk population amongst deivers and therefore have the highest premiums.

There are a lot of factors. Here are some that could positively or negatively impact your premium:

- length of driving history
- tickets
- accidents
- number of claims
- age/sex
- location
- annual mileage

There are also ways to save and get discounts. Company loyalty, school credits, additional safety features, autopay, lumpsum payments, etc.

I’m in Ontario, Canada...I’m 27, clean record, have $500 collision and $300 comprehensive deductibles, $1,000,000 liability, accident forgiveness, free rental coverage, basically the works.
I pay $150/month, that’s in Canadian Dollars. I don’t think that’s too shabby. My 2013 Accord V6 was around the same.

The best value coverage I got was from GEICO. I pay like $105 a month.

EDIT: Actually now I'm only paying $98.29. I think they're doing some sort of discount during quarantine.

I'm now 32 years old, this is the first car purchased under my name, and no tickets/accidents. Below are the detes.
  • Bodily Injury Liability: $100,000 per person/$300,000 per occurrence
  • Property Damage Liability: $50,000 per occurrence
  • Comprehensive: $500 deductible
  • Collision: $1000 deductible/waiver
No emergency road service or rental reimbursement.

what insurance is it? Are you having multiple cars?
GEICO. 3 cars and 2 drivers on the policy. 1 no-fault accident each + 0 moving violations, well, 0 convicted moving violations, in the last decade.

$595.94 every 6 months for a '20 Si, '18 CR-V, and '07 CR-V. Full coverage at $50k/100k, $100(other)/$500(collision) deductibles, $50/1,500 rental.

I've been meaning to up it, so just did that to $300k/300k with $100k prop. damage, and dropped the rental on the '07 CR-V... new premium is $613 every 6 months.

$354/6mo or $59 a month, before the 20% monthly lockdown discount.

Edit: Not shown here is the automatic card payment discount, so I'm actually paying $342 or $57/month.

That's great, low deductable too.
Next year I move up to the 5 year customer tier, 5 year no claims, and 5 year accident free where there's supposed to be a bigger discount. No idea how much, I'm hoping at least 10% off the top.

Edit: I just realized I have an additional discount that doesn't show up there, I'm actually paying $342 or $57/month.
