For me when I first drove the car brand new it seemed to have catched low-mid range. Nowadays after 20K miles it seems to catch up higher in the travel. Just my opinion.

Maybe I got lucky but I love how my clutch engages. It feels like it's about 3" from all the way down. I came from an 06 WRX and 2014 STi and the drive by wire was awful in those so I always needed to gas a little bit more than I would have liked in first. Probably due to awd too. My hatchback sport has been the easiest manual i've ever driven.
