Include the cost of your car and all your performance and cosmetics, labor, etc. I will have right about $100k invested after the PRL P600, 2.3L race build, and twin disc race clutch. @PRL Motorsports @4piston would be great to have as a sponsorship? ?

A few of you may be surprised once you add it all up, it quickly piles up when modifying.

Not much beside cost of the car, floor mats, tinting, seat covers, and maintance cost.

I’ll do an edit for the exact amount of the Si... but I think it was maybe $24,000 or so. I financed 22.2k but I had some equity in my trade and saved a grand worth of taxes based on the trade. Funny how it all works

$600 V2 on (Black Friday sale)
$80 TSP Stage 1 tune
$80 PRL Stage 1 intake (on sale)
$400 tint
$90 Hikaris LED headlights (Philips)
$150 in sound deadening + tools
$50 for 2 6.5” speakers
$20 for Green Filter oil
~$80 for 4 oil/filter changes
$50 for wireless charger
$200 lifetime alignment plan
$40 Amsoil MTF

...so $1840 dollars in about 3 years minus gas? Sounds about right. Tires soon. These are about done.

So... probably around $26k.

I did find a bill for my initial refresh of that Z. $11k+ for a car I spent $7500 on. I’m at about $25k in it now.

just some minor mods, and some expenses to paint protection
so i will just add all things i did to a car so far:

base price of new 1.5turbo hatchback 22.000e
18" rims with tires 1600e + 40e homologation
ST coilovers with homologation and shop work 1000e
Rear camber arms (hardrace) 250e + 80e work
Ceramic coating 700 car and 120 rims
New speakers with 2 amps and sub + work 1300e
Krown rust proofing 100e
at 30km i did 4x oil change with oil filters that is around 400eĹľ
that is total of 27.750euro or 32800dollars...

and insurance here is around 900e (1100 dollars) per year...
i did spend around 2500e on gas ...

so total this car is
32k e or 38k dollars...

with my sallary i earn around average wage 17k euro /year 20k dollars/year

almost 2 years of my total income to get a damn civic ;)
cars are expensive here

I thought this would be an interesting thread to see how much people are investing in their builds. Thanks to all those who have replied. There's so many unique cars here it would be nice if you included a picture of your car as well with the details just for quick reference on your build.

I think I'm at around $800. Only other thing I'm thinking of adding is the CTR subframe brace and maybe a strut bar. It's got enough go for my needs and handles pretty well.

If I have $100k I will get an Audi RS and call it a day.
Considering the Audi RS3 is $56k and it’s not a Civic build what does that have to do with $100k?
