Hi All,

How much can I expect for a set of stock tires? It's used for 9000 miles and still lot of tread left on them. I can't keep it inside my apartment as I upgraded to Michelin tires.

I am expecting around $350 for set of 4. Is it high?

Unfortunately used tires are worth as much as someone is willing to pay. There is a risk when you buy used tires. They could be damaged internally and you cant provide a warrantee.

somebody might be willing to pay a couple hundred bucks if you’re lucky

Maybe $200-250. Maybe a bit more if they are the summer performance option.

I’d say a couple hundred bucks. One you’re paying more than 1/2 new money for tires (assuming you’re not buying them mounted on rims) the value isn’t there.
As an aside... my Goodyear F1s probably have a good 10k miles left in them at 24k miles... at least, just driving them in the street. I would t choose to buy them again but I’ve been impressed at their balance of performance and life. I assumed they’d be shot by now.

The OEM tires suck and they are used at least 1/3 of the way. I wouldn't expect more than $250 and I'd more realistically accept $200.

Let us know how it goes! Also, if you get interest from someone in the midwest you don't want to ship to let me know. I also want to upgrade but am stuck with the stock A/S at <10k miles :(

Depending on the type you might actually be able to get a bit more. The stock Eagle F1 Asymmetrics are no longer made. If yours are the same and you were selling them a few months ago I might've bought one when I had a flat. Oh well, it was a good time to upgrade.

So yeah individually you might get a bit more from people who get one flat and don't want to replace the whole set. Again, depends on if its those tires. Good luck!

F1 asymmetrics are available on tirerack. I regret switching from asymmetrics to all seasons ?

Oh I thought there were two Asymmetrics, Asymmetric A/S and Asymmetric 2 (summer tires). I think they still make the summer tires.
