2018, garage kept, 16K miles. Still on original. Just now getting cold this year but so far, no hints of even a slow start.
Based on life experience though, once even the best rated batteries reach 4-5 years old, you can expect to have to replace them at any time.

15k, garage kept and lasted exactly 3 years. Glad it went out before temperature drops.

2016 EX-L, a little over 38K miles at the time of battery change. Changed out the factory battery at the beginning of this year, so it lasted almost 5 1/2 years.

My 2018 Civic is 5 years old and still going strong, no slow crank.
It is a Canadian model; supposed to have a stronger battery.

It still has 2 years left of the extended warranty. If the battery fails, they will give me a new one, right?

What are the North American people using for a replacement battery?
Auto Zone, Advance Auto, O'Reilly's, Walmart, etc?

Your OE battery died after 18 months, why you did not claim a new one via warranty?
I put in an aftermarket amp and sub. I'd rather have AGM, which I know is going to handle the load, than have another factory battery fail

There are really only 3 companies that make batteries for everyone. You could go to 20 different auto parts stores and most would come from Exide with a different label as the only difference. Batteries are a crap shoot, one could last a week and one 8 years. The store it comes from and usually even the quality level makes almost zero difference except in your pocket book.

2019 civic oem battery is still going, unbelievably. I'm expecting it to die this winter.
