You should be able to increase the mpg if you change to engine braking to a stop instead of shifting into neutral to coast to a stop.

I was taught to not throw it into neutral and instead use the engine to help with braking extending brake life. I don't down shift when slowing, but just keep it whatever gear I'm in until about 800 before taking it out of gear.

brakes are cheap compared to engine/transmission.

Curious to see the numbers some people are getting, seen varying numbers online and also from my personal experience with driving a 2018 Si, 2020 Si, both modified and stock.

What year civic: 2020 Civic Si

Average MPG: 26-27 mpg

Mostly highway/city/mixed: Mixed

Which octane gas do you use: 91

Engine Modifications: FKX Catless downpipe

Driving Habit: Fairly spirited, semi heavy foot
Forgot I posted this thread ahah, funny story to my initial mpg posting. Turns out I had an exhaust leak, I was getting as low as 24-25mpg highway cruising so I figured something was up. Fast forward all this time and I'm still getting around 26-27mpg but only because I now work in NYC so I daily drive traffic a lot, highway I'm getting 35mpg+

Currently phearable tuned, PRL catless downpipe, PRL Short ram intake
