For those who DD only (not taken to track), how long did your tires last? What's the mileage on them?

OEM set lasted me about 9-10,000 miles. The main problem I have is that I keep losing them to potholes tearing the sidewalls. I've already lost three that way.

At just about 5k and they are about 60-70% tread.

Edit just realized the OEM's are only 9/32 new and not 10/32 as I assumed, that means I'm at 75% after 5k.

I just switched to my winters and after calculating I have a little over 8600mi on them. I'll be buying new ones next summer.

Getting 4 new tires this morning...oems at 2-3 mm; 51,320 miles; 90% highway
Just so nobody gets confused here thinking they can get that many miles on stock Type R tires...

The sedan does not have the same tires as a Type R...this is the type r sub forum buddy

Mine are at probably 70% on front, I rotated them at about 8K. At 10K now probably get 16 out of them at the rate I'm going. I live in FL so I'll never need winter tires. Occasionally gets down to 30ish but just drive slow and easy till they warm up. I def won't be putting OEM tires back on here. Probably 35s that are reasonable since i don't hoon or track.
