How hard to keep a white one clean?

Hi All,

I originally was going to get an SGP FK8 but now I'm swaying to CW (always loved the colour on Hondas ever since seeing my first DC2) however I'm concerned about how dirty it gets and how bad it looks while dirty?

I was planning on getting rally armour mudflaps and keeping it in the garage but realistically how bad does the paintwork get? I hate cleaning cars

I have a white Type R granted only for a few months but it hides dust pretty well unless your up close

Pretty hard, I clean mine once a weekend.

I find that it is pretty easy to keep clean. If you don’t like cleaning your car often I recommend a ceramic coat. One thing I will say is if you don’t clean it often because it’s white things will cause stains or discoloration. A ceramic coat will help with this though.

It's a flat off white, so as a grime layer accumulates, so long as it's fairly even, it doesn't look "dirty".

Will definitely be getting it ceramic coated to protect the paint

Can you tell it’s dirty? Took over the weekend, last time I washed my car was sometime last month.. and it’s been raining far too much for me to wash it right now.

My car is on the right hasn’t been washed in like 2 months left car was dirty too

Probably depends on where you live as well. Winter weather in Ohio... impossible to keep clean.

Here’s my car with about (1) week of dirt on it. I try to wash mine once a week also. Cleaning is easy if have a ceramic coat and have the right pressure washer, foam canon, microfiber mits, buckets, wheel brushes etc

I’d say CW hides dirt/dust better than any other color on the CTR.
