I'm getting tired of throwing my cell on the passenger seat. How does everyone store their phone when they are driving?

Underneath the climate control, I'm connecting to Android Auto anyway lol

The phone mounts does sounds like a good idea, but that will make the first charging cord hanging around:nono: don't really need that imo

Cup holder as it's the only place it won't go flying. The lip on the tray under the climate control should be a bit taller. I tried the tray by your right knee and it comes out of that too.

I saw this organizer for the cubby below the climate control on another thread so I bought one and turned it into a dock for my iphone. I drilled a hole then lined up the lightning connector by connecting it to the phone then epoxied it into place. Now I can slide it into the connector with one hand when I get in the car for Apple carplay.

I struggle with where to put my phone on the daily. I put it under climate controls but it always slides into my shift boot. Very irritating specially cause I have MT. It's really too bad Android auto can't bed wireless. Much rather the phone beer in cup holder or something. But having wires wrapped around shift area is a no no.

The pocket along the lower drivers side of the center console seems obviously made for a phone to me, considering it's right next to the USB port and the cubby is long enough for a reasonably sized phone (although I fit my large 1+ 7 pro there, too).

Why does no one else put their phone here? You're all making it too complicated.

Really curious why any of you DON'T put it in one of the cup holders? It's super close and easy to reach without looking down, secure (won't fly around in cornering/braking), and doesn't require adding a mount or pouch, etc.?

The only other spot I like is also right in front of the shifter, I find that surface is pretty sticky and my phone doesn't slide around at all.

I keep mine in the area under the climate controls. I haven't had issues with it sliding around so far.

I dont love putting stuff under climate controls because I have 27won RMM so things tend to rattle a lot in that area. Set of keys jingling together will drive me nuts after awhile.
