How do you adjust daytime running lights so they do not come on or change settings?

I will admit that I haven't tested this, but if you turn the stalk to the off position, not Auto, does this kill the DRL's? It does on my Mazdas and Toyotas.

DRLs turn on the moment the parking brake is released with no exception. The only way to stop this behavior is to disconnect the DRL fuse entirely I’m pretty sure.

Go to a garage, you tell them to install an additional switch to turn off the light

I thought there was a way to adjust it in the infotainment system, maybe with the android hack
