Hello CivicX,

Just purchased 18x9.5 wheels with 265/35 tires and am planning to pair this with Swift springs.

Can anyone chime in on how they feel? I know that Swift springs have a higher spring rate compared to other brands (Spoon, Eibach, etc)

I'm hoping that downsizing to a smaller wheel + thicker/meatier tires will "balance" out the increased spring rates.

Offset is critical to know whether you are going to rub with a 265

Ride quality is improved, and with the right tire, handling is as good, or even better than stock. Some people might argue torque steer, but its negligible IMO.

I am running that exact setup and it's amazing! Handling is great and not so rough with the 18s.

My bad, the offset I'm going to be running is +38.

Awesome! I'm actually going to be running the same exact specs as you! I got the 57DRs instead haha. Glad you hear that the ride quality is improved! Part of the reason why I ask is due to my paranoia of hitting pot holes on the stock wheel setup.

Would you say the ride is more or less stiff compared to stock?

I'm running 57DR's same spec and its my understanding that 265's will rub with a +38 offset. Hence why I run a 255.

I'm running 18x9.5 38offset w 265/35s on swift. You'll rub during hard dips on tab w plastic screw by sidemarkers. Easily remove screw, then bend the thin metal tab in, pinching fender liner w it. Tab bends with hand pressure. No rubbing since.

Damn your fitment looks pretty close to just 1 finger, Swifts definitely seem to lower the most.

Would you need rear camber arms for lowering springs?
