I have a 2016 10th gen Civic touring. As instructed, I held on the cancel button (5 sec) with the cruise control off.

Tried with engine on, ignition on (engine off), but both didn't seem to work.
I don't see the rev meter moving to indicate map switching.

I do feel the difference in performance after flashing TSP stage 1 though.

What am I doing wrong?

After pressing the cancel button, press the + or - cc buttons. You should see the tach go from 1000 to 2000 to 3000. When you're ready to choose a map, hold down the cancel button again to lock that map in.

I've pressed the + or - buttons, but the tach doesn't move, so I'm wondering what's the issue.

I'd re-upload the tune again, it's possible it didn't install correctly.

That still didn’t solve the issue. Maybe map switching isn’t supported on my ECU?

What ECU are you on? I thought anything supported by TSP had that function but I could be mistaken.

That's the version of ECU I have. Right, I made sure Cruise Main was off.

Maybe ask @KTuner to confirm? I saw several 5AA-Lxxx ECUs listed in the documentation but not yours specifically.

Maybe try to re flash as @gtman said?

Final question, you are letting go of the cancel button after the 3-5 sec press? I don't know that it shows anything if you continually hold it.

According to Thomas, my civic should work, but he didn't have the exact ECU info. I'm assuming my ECU version doesn't support that feature.

Re flashing didn't solve it either.

Yea, I let go of the cancel button after 5 sec.

This would be the correct file for you currently. You unfortunately have not gotten Honda's update to the newer software and won't have additional advanced features until you do. There's also a CVT controller update, which is why you can't run the newer software version by just flashing it in.

How does one get the update?
