I drive a 2019 SI. Recently, my gas pedal has been cooking my foot. It will turn into coals for about 10 minutes then it goes away and it only does that after I come home from work. When I drive it anytime else during the day, it's fine. A/c and heat are all turned off.
Any input would be appreciated before I consider going to the dealer.

I haven't driven barefoot yet so I am not sure what would cause that. I am wondering if it's a condition your foot has from working. If it only happens after work and no other time I'm wondering if it's the car or your long days work getting to you.

Gout? What is climate control set at? Even if it’s off it still passes through the vents, and is it set for footwell?

That's really strange bro. My gut reaction is that it's nothing to do with the car. Try switching shoes after work?

its all in the footwear. after being on your feet all day and working the body tends to start to relax towards the end of your trip. try it on a day off with another pair of shoes.

I never would of thought that it could just be my foot. I'll try driving home with another pair of shoes and see how it is. But, strange thing is this has never happened before with any other car. Maybe I'm getting old? Gout?

Anyways, thanks for the input.

Foot insoles, they make a huge difference for foot aches. Podiatrists and chiropractors recommend insoles to make your feet hurt less and to provide better support.

You can even try the Dr Scholl's machine at Walmart to see how your feet are shaped and their recommendation.

I have no issues since I got the Acuity pedal spacer. I wear size 10.5 Irish Setter non-metallic toe boots.
